github_iconFleep has a customized webhook for GitHub, which allows you to receive updates into Fleep conversations about the changes in your GitHub repo.

Follow these steps to setup your GitHub integration:

  1. Create the conversation where you want to receive all your GitHub updates
  2. In that conversation open Conversation Settings > Integrations and click on the Add button and then Create on the next popup window to generate a new hook for GitHub integration

  3. Copy the hook URL from the Active integrations list that opens up in Fleep

  4. Log into GitHub and open your repo Settings

  5. In repo Settings select Webhooks & Services

  6. Select Add webhook
  7. Paste into the “Payload URL” field the URL copied from Fleep (for example https://fleep.io/hook/X9HqdesaixSS-TrfkiXxs8Qxx)

  8. Choose which events will trigger updates into Fleep
  9. Press Add webhook
  10. Now sit back and do a victory dance! ;)
