Start managing your email conversations in Fleep
Today’s a big day at Fleep. Like really, really big. That’s because starting today, you can connect your email account with Fleep. This means you can send and receive email messages in Fleep while maintaining your existing email address.
Bottom line: This update means you can manage all your team chats and emails in one place.
We have spent the last 6 months testing this feature with a group of Fleep users who were willing to venture for a life after email. Based on the feedback we received, our team has spent countless hours polishing the feature. And now, we’re excited to share it with the world!

Trying the feature is absolutely risk-free. You can disconnect any time, and we will not, in any way, mess up your inbox in your email client.
Ready to get started?
If you’re a Fleep user already, it couldn’t be easier to get started:
- Click on your profile in the bottom left corner of the interface in the desktop version – and choose ‘Email settings’ from the menu that appears. Here, you can connect your preferred email account with Fleep.
- Once connected, all your new incoming emails will also show up in Fleep. Enjoy the improved experience of email conversations and respond to those from Fleep.
- All email messages you send from Fleep will have the email account you connected as the outgoing email address. All email conversations will be visible in both Fleep and in your email client.
Not a Fleep user yet? Now’s a great time to sign up. If you sign up with Google, you can connect your Gmail inbox and Fleep with a just a couple clicks.
If you use a different email provider, you’ll can also connect your email account with Fleep similarly to any email client setup. As long as you have an email account that supports secure IMAP/SMTP connections.
